The Reca Norm GmbH (proper spelling: Anchorfast) is a distributor of tools and fastening systems for craft and industry in Germany. The Reca range includes fastening and assembly technology with manual tools as well as auxiliary and care products. The sectors covered by the Reca standard include construction and metalworking, in-house workshops and industry. The company is part of the Würth Group .

history

Reca Norm GmbH & Co. KG was established in 1981 from the merger of the independent screw dealers Detmering KG, Hans Zander KG, screws Listl, screws Müller and screws Schmid. With the incorporation of Siller & Laar from Augsburg on January 1, 1994, the company was incorporated into the Reca standard. From then on, the RECA brand was sold through Siller & Laar and the Reca sales team, which was already active on site, in the greater Augsburg area. Siller & Laar, which was founded in 1836, functions as an independent company within the Reca Group.

In 1986 the Reca Norm moved from Gaisbach to Kupferzell. In 1996 the new company headquarters was equipped with the latest logistics and communication systems and has been operating internationally in Europe and abroad since then. On July 14, 2011 the company form was changed to Reca Norm GmbH. With the incorporation of further companies, market development was reorganized and the Reca Group was created.

Corporate structure

The Reca-Group is the umbrella organization for the brands RECA (craft), NORMFEST and SCAR (automotive) as well as RECA (industry). The company is also the parent company of various companies with a specialized range.

Today the Reca-Group is active with 28 companies in 20 countries, since 2004 also in China. The companies of the group achieved a turnover of 652.2 million euros in 2018 and employ 4,142 people. In Germany the company has branches in Berlin-Reinickendorf, Berlin-Schöneberg, Berlin-Pankow, Frankfurt / Dreieich, Kaiserslautern, Cologne / Hürth, Ingolstadt, Augsburg, Leipzig, Hamburg and Hanover.

Products

The range includes more than 20,000 specialist articles for trade and industry from the product areas of fastening technology, material processing, dowel technology, chemical-technical products, hand tools, measuring and clamping tools, diamond technology, occupational safety, fittings, roof and wood construction, building supplies and power tools. The company also has its own vehicle equipment system under the RECA MAXMOBIL brand. Reca also has its own division for factory equipment.
