Recomposition

A new movement or English Recomposition [ ˌɹiːkɒmpəˈzɪʃən ] is an animated film that has been modified to a new aspect ratio for a new release on DVD or VHS on the computer using a special process .

This is valid when the computer animated films accomplish because the image is not simply the aspect ratio ( aspect ratio ) Cropping is applied, but is dissolved completely new and partially objects and characters are moved to the position within the new aspect ratio.

An example where the technique has been used is The Big Crawl from Pixar Animation Studios .
