Red Apollo was a German post-metal band from Dortmund.
history
It was founded in 2006 as a one-man project by Björn Döhmann in Dortmund. After the self-produced demo EP called "Like the Cry of a Bird of Prey" (February 2011), other band members joined. In November 2011 the self-produced demo EP "Quiet As Death" followed with 4 other band members. Over 8 years, the band released over 10 releases.
After the 3rd album release, the band announced their breakup in 2018.
