Repro preparation
Repro preparation was an occupation in repro technology . The apprenticeship template maker / repro preparation included the following tasks:
- Creation of master copies on the basis of the original templates or line drawings.
- Creation of black and white and color drawings ready for reproduction for halftone, halftone and line reproductions.
- Retouching originals and duplicates for reproduction.
- Drawing of stand sketches and writing.
- Montage of image and text.
- Performing simple photographic work
