Response ratio

Response ratio describes the relationship between the time it takes to process a function and its response time. It is a key figure from the performance calculation in computer science . Both basic key figures should be as small as possible, but a ratio of 1 is aimed for. This key figure is also used in the Highest Response Ratio Next scheduling method .

Response ratio = response time / duration for function processing = (waiting time + duration for function processing) / duration for function processing
