A rescue hose is an aid for rescuing people from heights, e.g. B. from the upper floors of a house in the event of a fire or similar emergency situations.

Rescue hoses can be permanently installed on buildings as escape routes. However, there are also mobile devices to complement z. B. for fire fighting with the turntable ladder or the telescopic mast .

The outside of the rescue tube is made of fireproof material. Inside the cover there is a spiral-shaped tube made of stretchable textile material. If a person climbs into the hose, they slide slowly and safely down the spiral, braked by the fabric of the hose.

Another system consists of a chamber system in which evacuation takes place without any action on your part.

Rescue hoses are used at heights of approx. 2 m to over 100 m.
