Recommended speed (artillery)

The recommended speed indicates how much degree of running a ready to shoot gun per second tilted vertically or horizontally - so at a target directed can be -. The aiming speed depends on factors such as the size and weight of the gun, the performance of its mechanical or electrical slewing devices and the experience of its operating crew. In principle, the level of the aiming speed can be used as an indication of the efficiency and performance of a gun.
