Robert Martwick

Robert F. Martwick (born February 28, 1966 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American politician, member of the Democratic Party and member of the House of Representatives for the US state Illinois . His constituency is in northwest Chicago, including some suburbs of the big city.

After studying law and economics of Americans of Polish origin worked for several years as a prosecutor ( Assistant State's Attorney ), among others, in the areas of domestic violence and the enforcement of child support until he opened a private law firm.

His political career began as a kind of councilor ( trustee ) in various suburbs ( townships ) of Chicago from 1993 to 2002. Martwick has been an MP since January 2013, now in his second term. He advocates for elected school boards in Illinois and advocates state interventionism , reproductive medicine and investment in education , among other things .

Robert F. Martwick is a Roman Catholic , lives in the Chicago suburb of Norridge and is married.
