Roger Dubuis is a Swiss watch and jewelry manufacturer based in Meyrin in the canton of Geneva .

The watch manufacturer was founded in 1995 under the name Sogem SA (Société Genevoise des Montres) based in Carouge by Roger Dubuis and Carlos Dias and renamed Manufacture Roger Dubuis SA in 1999 . In 2002 the company moved into the new headquarters in Meyrin. The company headquarters was expanded in 2005 and around 500 employees and 120 machines, with which all parts are produced in-house, were centralized there.

In August 2008, the Swiss luxury goods group Richemont took over 60 percent of the shares in Manufacture Roger Dubuis SA from founding member Carlos Dias. The company continues to produce and sell its watches and jewelry under its own brand and operates as an independent watch manufacturer within the Richemont Group.

Roger Dubuis is currently the only company whose entire production is allowed to carry the “ Poinçon de Genève ”.

history

The Roger Dubuis manufacture in Geneva was founded in 1995. After four years of development, the first completely in-house designed and developed models were presented in 1999.
