Ronnie F. Lee is an American MC , hardcore techno musician and label owner . He published under pseudonyms such as MC Rage , MC Fresh and Ronny Money .
Life
Lee served in the United States Army and was stationed in Italy , among other places . After retiring from active service, he returned to Italy and devoted himself to his career as a musician. In the 1990s he worked as an MC for Luca Pretolesi's project Digital Boy . Pretolesi then also produced many of Lee's solo works, which appeared under names such as MC Fresh or Ronny Money . With the single The Mountain of King , which Lee had written together with Luca Pretolesi, he reached number 1 in the Italian single charts in 1994.
He became known in 1996 in the Netherlands with the song Fuck Macarena , which was a parody of the hit of the group Los del Río . After that he released more singles and albums, but could no longer build on the success of Fuck Macarena . In 1997 he founded the So-Real Records label in Italy . A year later, Lee moved back to the United States and founded the company European Music Market, Inc. (EUMM), with which he initially wanted to import European music. EUMM was later converted into a music label and also acted as the operator of Luca Pretolesi's recording studio.
In 2002, Lee founded the consulting firm Artistic Business Services, Inc. (ABS).
