Rotinoff Motors Ltd was a British commercial vehicle manufacturer based in Colnbrook in the west of London.

history

The company was founded in 1952 by the Belarusian George Rotinoff, who emigrated to England in the early 1950s. The Rotinoff company specialized in the manufacture of tugs and heavy haulage vehicles. Rotinoff's vehicles became known in Europe, among other things, through the armored tugs used by the Swiss Army , which are operated there under the name Rotinoff Atlantic GR 7 (tug 35 t 6x4). This type was used from 1958 by the Swiss armored forces as a means of transport for the Centurion battle tank. Other Rotinoff vans were used as road trains in Australia for transporting cattle.

George Rotinoff died in 1959, the brand name Rotinoff was no longer used. Rotinoff vehicles are still in service around the world and are coveted collectors' items today.
