Russian Youth Convention 2011
The Russian Youth Day (RJT 2011) of the New Apostolic Church took place from August 5th to 7th, 2011 in the Pokrovskoje Recreation Home near Moscow . It was the first major youth convention in the history of the New Apostolic Church for the Russian-speaking countries.
Creation and preparation
Local youth days take place in the New Apostolic Church once a year, but no all-Russian youth day has taken place. The idea of the European Youth Day ( EYD 2009 ) gave rise to the idea of creating a joint youth day for the Russian-speaking young people. The spiritual head of the New Apostolic Church, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber , was present at the youth convention.
