Acidity
The degree of acidity can mean several chemical indicators:
- Acid capacity , a measure in water analysis
- Soxhlet Henkel number (SHZ or ° SH), a chemical code for milk and dairy products
- The total acidity that can be titrated , a measure for wine and fruit juice analyzes
- Semi-micro -butyric acid number (HBsZ), a measure of the content of butyric acid in a fat
- Acid number (AN), a measure of the free components of fats
- Saponification number (VZ), chemical index for characterizing fats and oils
- Colloquially in the figurative sense (but technically incorrect) the pH value of an acidic solution
