Sébastien Mamerot (* between 1430 and 1440 in Soissons ; † around 1490) was a French clergyman, scholar, writer and translator who spent most of his life in the service of the noble and politician Louis de Laval .

Mamerot was u. a. Author of the Histoire des neuf preux et des neuf preuses (1460–1461), also a chronicle of the crusades Les Passages d'oultre mer du noble Godefroy de Bouillon, du bon roy Saint Loys et de plusieurs vertueux princes , which appeared around 1490, as well Translator of Benvenuto da Imola's Romuleon , a collection of reports on the history of Rome .
