Sérac (cheese)

The Sérac is a French whey cheese made using the whey from raw cow and goat milk . He comes from the French Alps.

The cheese has a very light and soft texture. Since the mass is very soft, it is not sold as a cheese wheel, but in different containers. The cheese is often eaten without any other spices. Occasionally, however, it is dressed with herbs and olive oil.

A comparable cheese is made from the whey that is obtained from Beaufort's production .
