Saint-Georges-sur-Cher is surrounded by the neighboring communities Chissay-en-Touraine in the north, Faverolles-sur-Cher in the east, Céré-la-Ronde in the south and southeast, Épeigné-les-Bois in the southwest, Francueil in the west as well Chisseaux in the northwest.
