Samaʻi is a settlement in the interior of the political district (itūmālō) Aʻana of the island state of Samoa on the island of Upolu .
geography
The place lies together with Falevai and Matānofo in a bay at Asia Point , northwest of the headland of Cape Mulitapuʻili , between Faleaseela and Matautu . Inland are the ruins of Mafafa .
