Sangharaja
Saṅgharāja refers to the state or monarch-appointed supreme monk in the countries of Theravāda Buddhism. These are:
- Supreme Monastic Patriarch of Thailand
- Heads of Thammayut and Mahānikai in Cambodia, see Buddhism in Cambodia #Modern Theravāda
- Head of Buddhists in pre-revolutionary Laos until 1975, see Buddhism in Laos
