Remediation note

The remediation note is under German Baurecht a land registry responsive to the position of the land in a regeneration area indicates.

According to Section 143 (2 ) BauGB , the redevelopment statute must be entered in the land registers of the land in question when the redevelopment statute becomes final. The entry is made without the participation of the owner at the request of the city or municipality. The redevelopment note has no direct legal effects, only an information and security function for property transactions. This redevelopment note indicates that the property is located in a formally defined redevelopment area. He points out that an urban redevelopment is being carried out and that the provisions of the building code and here the special urban planning law in accordance with §§ 136 ff. BauGB must be observed. A legal change to the entry in the land register is only possible with the consent of the municipality. If the urban redevelopment measure ends with the repeal of the redevelopment statute, the redevelopment notes in the land register will NOT be deleted automatically. It must be applied for by the owner of the property at the respective municipality.
