Satz & Pfeffer is the name of the Swiss literary label from Judith Stadlin and Michael van Orsouw in the city of Zug . Together they write texts for books, theater, radio plays and staged readings. They run their own reading stage, the “Satz & Pfeffer reading stage”.

  • 2005: Literature grant from the Landis & Gyr Cultural Foundation , studio in Berlin.
  • 2006: 1st place in the literature competition “Zeitzeichen aus Gstaad”.
  • 2007: 1st jury, 1st audience and 1st overall prize at the Hildesheim short drama competition . 1st prize in the short drama competition in Marburg.
  • 2008: 1st prize in the short story competition of the “ Writing Scene Switzerland ”. 4th place in the poetry competition "vinum et litterae".
  • 2009: Scholarship from the Otto Pfeifer Foundation.
  • 2010: Contribution to the Central Switzerland Literature Fund.
  • 2017: Residence grant for six months in Berlin.

The "Satz & Pfeffer Reading Stage"

Satz & Pfeffer run the “Satz & Pfeffer reading stage” in the “Oswalds Eleven” restaurant in Zug. Authors from Germany and abroad perform there every month and organize a reading show together in which short literary forms are read.
