Chess the bastard

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Schach dem Schweinhund is a chess program that was developed by Christian Donninger and published by ChessBase in 2000 .

The program is based on Donninger's Nimzo 7.32 and has a similar skill level. In order to address even less advanced buyers, several handicap options have been built in to make the program as “human” as possible. Video animations of the pig's name, similar to a bulldog, have been integrated into the user interface . This figure comments on the course of the game depending on the situation with facial expressions and more or less funny voice output. The program runs under operating systems from Microsoft Windows 95 . It supports endgame databases , which contain Drei and Viersteiner on CD-ROM, as well as the portable game notation for managing games.
