Control room floor support

The control room floor is a special form of the double floor .

Section through the control room floor

The control room substructure consists of galvanized C-profiles screwed together , walking area 40 × 40 mm, area of the cabinet fields 80 × 40 mm. The top edge of the cabinet fields is flush with the top edge of the raised floor panels. The profiles are screwed to supports in accordance with VDE 0100, which can be adjusted in height to compensate for uneven floors. The column feet are in load-distributing domes that are fixed to the subsurface with adhesive. Cabinet frames are custom-made. The frames, which are open at the bottom, allow the wiring of control cabinets to be easily fed . It is possible to close the frames with raised floor panels (reserve fields).

Individual parts of the control room substructure

The control room substructure is free-standing, it guarantees full stability even without installed raised floor panels. Cover that interferes with the wiring can simply be picked up without impairing the stability and load bearing capacity of the raised floor system. The load values are significantly higher than with the double floor .

The point load absorption in the switch cabinet area is always above 5 kN, the point load absorption in the walking area with four-sided panel support is between 4 kN and 5 kN, depending on the raised floor panel used. If the panels are only supported on three sides, the load absorption is no greater than with a raised floor.
