The house Schloßberg 5 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located west of the Quedlinburger Schloßberg in the Westendorf district at a narrow point on the Schloßberg street , which here runs in the form of a ravine through the rock of the Schloßberg. The house is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register as a residential building and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Opposite the house are the rocks of the castle hill.

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built around 1820. The roof of the house is supported by a dwelling . The wooden, richly profiled walls on the windows and door are remarkable. The door of the house is also from the construction period.
