history

From 1662 the von Lüttwitz owned the village. The present castle was built from 1695 to 1705 for Johann Ernst Freiherr von Pein and Wechmar. Major Friedrich Schröter, owner from 1862, had the first Bismarck tower in Prussia built not far from the palace . The last German owner was Arthur von Scheliha. As a result of the Second World War, Wättrisch and most of Silesia fell to the People's Republic of Poland in 1945 . The castle was later used as a workers' residence.

Building

The castle is three-story with a mansard hipped roof . The building is structured by colossal pilasters. In the center is a portal with a window door above it with the coat of arms of von Wechmar. Inside, stucco decorations have been preserved in the palace chapel and in a hall on the upper floor.
