The Schlossberg tunnel leads under the Schlossberg in Kapfenberg ( Styria ) and serves to bypass the old town.

history

The Schlossberg tunnel was completed in 1967. In 2009 it was extensively renovated.

description

The tunnel has a tube with two-way lanes. The tunnel is a maximum of 7.5 meters wide and 5.2 meters high and 322 meters long. The B116 runs through the tunnel.
