A rapid incinerator is an electrical device used in chemical and physical laboratories. It is used for the time-saving incineration of substances and liquids .

Most rapid incinerators have an on / off switch that is coupled to a stopwatch. When the preset time is reached, the device switches off. The desired temperature (up to 950 ° C, usually 650 ° C) is set on a second controller.

The materials to be incinerated are filled in porcelain crucibles with lids and placed or hung in the high-speed incinerator . If you open the flap, there is another heated storage area underneath, the inclined arrangement of which makes it easy to see the contents of the crucibles. Opening the flap interrupts the power supply and thus the heating.
