Chocolate Haschachar (Hebrew: שוקולד השחר) is an Israeli chocolate cream, which is produced by the company Haschachar Ha'Ole (Hebrew: השחר העולה). The company began production for the first time in 1955. Since then, Hashachar has become one of the company's best-known trademarks. It is even called the most successful chocolate cream in Israel and has become a symbol of Israeli cuisine .

There are two different versions of it: milky and neutral (parve) . This is because Jewish law forbids mixing dairy foods with meat-based foods.

For years, hashachar chocolate was the only chocolate cream available on the Israeli market . Nowadays you can also find brands like Elite and Nutella . Hashachar was never promoted in the mass media, the original logo was retained.
