Swiss Household Panel

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Swiss Household Panel ( SHP ) is a scientific long-term study of social change and in particular the living conditions of the population in Switzerland . The panel was first surveyed in 1999.

Households are randomly selected and their members are interviewed. These households or people represent the living conditions in Switzerland. The survey is carried out in a temporal rhythm with the same households or people, i.e. always the same panel.

The SHP is an annually repeated panel study that accompanies a random sample of households in Switzerland and interviews their members.
