Mud pots in the Seltún Solfatar area

Seltún is a solfatar area in the Krýsuvík volcanic system in Iceland , which is located southwest of Lake Kleifarvatn . The landscape around the 100 ° C hot springs is surrounded by yellow to reddish and blue-gray soil material, which can be traced back to the gases (especially sulfur) escaping from the mud pots.
