The Shapeshifters are a two- person British house group . The band members are Simon Marlin and Max Reich.

Career

They landed their biggest hit with the single Lola's Theme , which reached number 1 in the UK charts in July 2004 . The track was inspired by Marlin's wife Lola and was initially released as an instrumental piece in 2003. After it had developed into a club hit, it was re-recorded together with the gospel singer Cookie and released as a single. With the follow-up single Back to Basics , the Shapeshifters again reached the top ten in the UK in spring 2005. In the USA they had a number one hit on the dance charts.

The third single Incredible was released in 2005. In 2006, the debut album Sound Advice followed .
