Shepody

The potato variety Shepody was approved as a table potato in Canada in 1980 . The very large tubers are long-oval with a smooth, yellow skin and white pulp . The yield is very high. The variety is suitable for making french fries . However, it is susceptible to viral diseases, late blight and potato nematodes .
