The Silesia Rebels are a Polish American football team from Katowice . The team was founded in 2006 under the name Silesia Miners.

history

Just one year after it was founded, the team behind The Crew Wrocław became Polish runners-up. In the 2008 season they finished only 6th in the league. In the 2009 season, the team won the final of the Polish Championship (Polish Bowl) against The Crew Wrocław. In January 2012 the team merged with Warriors Ruda Śląska. In the 2012 season she plays under the name Silesia Rebels in the newly founded top league.
