Sindacato Padano

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Sindacato Padano (SINPA, in German roughly: Northern Italian trade union) is a trade union in Italy . It is close to the northern Italian separation movement Lega Nord and has only a limited meaning. It was founded in 1996 as Sindacato Autonomo di Lavoratori Padani (Autonomous Union of Northern Italian Workers).

Their peculiarity is the low number of members and the restriction to the northern parts of the country. The only evidence of a possible upward trend is the victory in the works council elections at Michelin . This must be seen in the light of the fact that the loyalty of the voters of the Lega, as with right-wing parties in Germany, does not match the loyalty of the voters of the French Front national .
