Remains of the walls

Sir John de Graham's Castle is a small medieval moth . It is on the Fintry to Denny road (B818) near the Carron Valley Reservoir in the Scottish Council Area of Stirling .

The facility is surrounded by an almost square trench three meters deep and eleven meters wide. The central mound within this trench structure is approximately 23 m × 23 m. In the northeast corner of the hill is a wall that marks the remains of a 18 m × 9 m building. No excavation has been carried out yet, so the dating of the moth is also uncertain. Little is also known about John de Graham of Dundaff, who died in the Battle of Falkirk in 1298 . The secluded moth is a remarkably well-preserved medieval monument of a kind rare in central Scotland.
