Sitophobia

Sitophobia (gr. Sition "food" and phobos "fear") describes a specific anxiety disorder of all or certain foods and food intake. This fear is often caused by obsessive-compulsive disorder , anorexia , depression or other mental illnesses. Since the person concerned refuses to eat, the phobia is life-threatening depending on the severity and he may have to be force-fed.
