The Skokanský areál in Desná consists of several ski jumps . The facility includes three small jumps of category K 8, K 20, K 38 and a medium jump of category K 60. The jumps are covered with plastic mattings.

history

The first ski jump is said to have been built by a porcelain manufacturer from Desná around 1900. In the 1920s and 1930s there are said to have been several ski jumps around Desná. The ski jumps were renewed after the Second World War . In 1955 the new Skokanský areál was built . In the winter of 1967 the bridge spout broke over the river and then the facility was rebuilt. In 1980, the K 20, K 38 and K 60 plastic covered jumping hills were inaugurated. Every year in summer and winter competitions for the youth are held. In 2006 all three jumps were renovated and covered with plastic matting.
