Småland Regiment

Regimental sign

The Småland Regiment ( Swedish : Smålands regemente ), also known as I 12 and I 12 / Fo 17 , was an infantry regiment of the Swedish army that had its origin in the 16th century. It was disbanded in 2000 as part of the downsizing of the army. The soldiers of the regiment were originally recruited from the province of Småland through the division plant and were stationed there.
