Solar Keymark

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Solar Keymark is a quality label for solar thermal products, especially solar collectors , based on European standards.

The certification program is based on a type test of the products and a production control. The keymark for solar thermal products is intended to support customers in the selection of solar collectors and solar systems that meet European standards. Certifications for the Solar Keymark have been possible since the beginning of 2003.

There are these certification bodies:

  • DIN CERTCO
  • CERTIF
  • ELOT
  • KIWA

The "Short version of EN 12975 test results" is usually published as an appendix to the Solar Keymark certificate. Page 1 (also known as the data sheet) contains technical information about the collector, e.g. B. the aperture area , external dimensions, collector performance parameters and other factors. The collector test report and the test laboratory from which the stated values originate are also named. On page 2 (also called data sheet 2), the annual collector output in kWh is staggered according to different locations for Athens, Davos, Stockholm and Würzburg.
