The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is a state university in Edwardsville in the US state of Illinois . The college is the smaller and younger of the two colleges that make up the Southern Illinois University System . It was founded in 1957. There are currently 13,449 students enrolled here.
The SIU Edwardsville sports teams are the Cougars . The college has been a member of the Ohio Valley Conference since 2007 . Before that she was a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference .
