Social ecology (zoology)
Biological social ecology studies how the group structure and organization of animals are influenced by the animal's environment.
Socio-ecological research approaches are particularly widespread in primate research . In this special area of behavioral ecology , in particular, attempts are made to explain the evolution of the diversity of social systems.
