Jun. 2018 Unterschied Versionen −459 Yosemite Decimal System unsourced opinion in the lead. correct that it varies by the rater, but 5.9 indoor at a gym has a tendency to be much easier that 5.9 in other places, (ie. JT tends to be different than Red Rocks, Yosemite different than either). For example, 5.9 is my best outdoor climb, but I have done certain 5.11a's in indoor gyms). Te entire rating system is so subjective, that the section is biased depending on the climber's experience. So what can or cannot be done by "first timers" is irrelevant.
