A Spermatitis (also Funiculitis ) is the medical term for an inflammation of the spermatic cords . It can occur when an inflammation of the vas deferens ( deferentitis ) spreads , possibly also in connection with an inflammation of the testicles or epididymis ( orchitis ). This can lead to painful swelling of the spermatic cord as well as fever and, secondary to fibrosis and adhesions.
