Expense account

The term expenses spot or English expense center means a demarcated division (mostly department), in which no direct relationship between costs and the corporate benefits are measurable. A classic example is the development or research department. The company canteen can also be an expense center.

It is essential that the Expense Center act independently within a given budget.
