The Drammen Spiral is a spiral-shaped , driven into a mountain tunnel in Norwegian Bragernesåsen in Drammen . In six turns (spiral windings) it leads over a length of 1650 m from the portal at 50 m above sea level to the upper exit at 213 m above sea level. There is a plateau with the Spiraltoppen open-air museum . It was opened in 1961 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Drammen.

The spiral tunnel with the world's largest angle of rotation does not fulfill any special traffic task. It was built at the end of the 1950s primarily as a quarry for the gentle extraction of building materials and is now primarily a local attraction.
