Sport 5

Sport 5 is a Czech sports channel operated by SPORT 5 a. S. is operated. Sport 5 was licensed on March 11, 2008 and began broadcasting on May 2 of that year. Until September 1, 2013, the station focused on motorsport and driving. Sport 5 was then complemented by other sports and recreational activities broadcast live or showing clips and recordings of current and historical events. The radio program is supplemented by thematic magazines.

In November 2011, Petr Charouz , a 20-year-old racing car driver, became the sole owner of SPORT 5.

In terrestrial broadcasting, the Sport 5 transmitter is available in DVB-T in regional network 7 and in DVB-T2 in transition network 13 and multiplex 24. It continues to broadcast on satellite and cable channels. On May 1, 2020, Sport 5 left the regional network 8.

The aim of the station is to bring Czech and Slovak fans closer to sports that they cannot find anywhere else.
