The St. Mark's Cathedral is the Anglican Church of the South African town of George . It was built in the neo-Gothic style in the years 1849/50 to designs by Sophie Gray , the wife of Robert Gray , the first Anglican bishop of Cape Town, and consecrated in 1850.

In 1911 the church was granted cathedral status. In 1924 the choir was renovated. Between 1924 and 1954 a transept was drawn in and the so-called Lady Chapel was added. In 1978 a chapter house was added to the church.
