The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia ( Armenian : Ճարտարապետության եւ շինարարարության Հայաստանի ազգային համալսարան, ՃՇՀԱՀ; Russian Национальный университет архитектуры и строительства Армении ; English: National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA)) is a public university in Yerevan in Armenia .

history

The college was founded in 1921 as the Armenian Institute for Building Construction . The first rector was the architect Mikayel Mazmanyan. On January 11, 1989, the name was changed to the State Institute of Architecture and Construction Yerevan (Yerevan State Institute of Architecture and Construction (YSIAC)) under the direction of Rector Arest Baglaryan. In 2014, the name was changed to the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia under the direction of Rector Gagik Galstyan.
