The Ludwigshafen am Rhein city museum has been in existence since 1904 and has been in the Rathaus-Center since 1984 .

The museum's permanent collection highlights the history of the young industrial city. Emblematic of the collection is, among other things, a three by four meter model of the city, which depicts the city around 1909.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are also regular changing exhibitions in the Ludwigshafen City Museum, usually on local or regional historical and urban issues.

The city museum does not cost any admission, events and temporary exhibitions are also free. The facility is barrier-free and accessible. Opening times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
