history
In 1960 the company was founded and the water supply was taken over. In 1961 the power supply was taken over. In 1989 the baths (outdoor pool and park pool) became the property of the Stadtwerke - as did the underground car parks in 1991. In 1992 the waterworks was rebuilt and in 1993 the city bus line went into operation. Since 1995 the municipal utilities have provided power to all parts of the town. The gas network was also taken over in 1996. The bathrooms were completely modernized in 1999. In the districts of Oberhausen / Unterhausen / Sinning the water supply was taken over in 2006. The establishment of the heat supply division and construction of the first local heating network was in 2010. The industrial waste heat has been used since 2012.
