StandWithUs
StandWithUs is a pro-Israel advocacy group based in Los Angeles , California . It was founded in 2001 by the American activist Roz Rothstein (* 1952 or 1953), who heads the organization as managing director.
The organization sees itself as an international and non-partisan educational institution that inspires and educates people of all ages and origins about Israel , counteracts misinformation and combats anti-Semitism .
Founded as a "cellar company" and run by volunteers, StandWithUs has developed into a global project with 18 offices on three continents. The organization has a multi-million dollar budget and an effective social media presence .
It is particularly present at US university locations. There she provides resources for students and supports them programmatically. It maintains its own network of “scholarship holders” and other supporters at universities across the country who serve as “eyes and ears” on campus. These forces are trained to use cameras, video devices and even robots to document anti-Israel activities.
